Songheang Ai

Songheang Ai is a director of Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre for Technical Education Development (SEAMEO TED), Cambodia. He works for technical education at secondary levels for 11 SEAMEO member countries in terms of public relations and partnership, research and development, and technical education and training, helping identify alternative solutions to the challenges faced by technical education teachers, school management, and administrators.

Dr. Ai earned a Master’s and Ph.D in human resource development (HRD) from Korea University of Technology and Education (KOREATECH) in 2020. His research interests are employment and labor, migrant workers, technical and vocational education and training (TVET), curriculum development, and human resource development (HRD). He has some journal research articles published since 2015. He was also authored and co-authored some book chapters. He has received the best paper award from Asia Pacific Institute of Advanced Research at 2nd International Conference on Multidisciplinary Academic Research (ICMAR-2019).

He has spoken as a guest and keynote speaker at several national, regional and international events such as webinars, conferences, workshops, and training. He is also an adjunct professor at some universities. He is a former deputy director of vocational orientation department, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the Kingdom of Cambodia. His endeavor is knowledge acquisition.
